Velvet Taco - Webster

Out of towner coming to visit. Have heard wonderful things about Velvet Taco, and let's just say this place absolutely exceeded all expect. So much flavor, great prices, atmosphere, and the Red Velvet cake is phenomenal. Jevin was super helpful and awesome for us first timers who couldn't make up our mind!

Great tacos the Kobe is awesome, birra is tasty. The tacos have a good mix of unique flavors and ingredients that make each taco have their own special flavor. They have mobile orders available for pick up in the drive thru so it makes it easy to go in and out.

We shared a plate of the Brisket Nachos. It was very good but could have used a little more of the “slow roasted Angus brisket”. The blue chips made it feel more healthy eating the chips. We had the # 12 -Slow-roasted Angus Brisket Taco & the #17 -Mexi-Cali shrimp Taco. The guy calling the orders was entertaining & funny. We look forward to going back.

I’m so stoked this location is here. We come once a week if not more. My kids love this place, they say it’s their favorite place in Texas to eat. Love all the crew and atmosphere here. If you haven’t tried Velvet taco head out to the baybrook location and treat yourself!

Stopped in here after trying to get lunch elsewhere and waiting an hour for food that never came. At that point, we would have been happy with pretty much anything, but this place was perfect. Very friendly staff, quick counter service, food was out quickly, and the tacos & bowls were both delicious. The bowl especially was very filling - I had the rotisserie chicken bowl and was very pleasantly surprised it was nice, big pieces of chicken, fresh ingredients, they put the salsa on the side for me (I can't eat a lot of spicy things) but once I tasted it, I did add it to the bowl as it was just too tasty to pass up. Lots of seating, inside & out, and a very casual but fun little place. Will definitely eat here again.

Wow! JUST WOW!!! SOOOOOOOO GOOD! Today was our first time here and was so happy with our lunch choice today! The Rotisserie Chicken was my FAVORITE! And that roasted corn side!!!! YES PLEASE!! I TOTALLY FORGOT to take pictures of the Rotisserie Chicken and the Spicy Tikka Chicken tacos! The Spicy Tikka Chicken taco had a pretty good KICK! BUT MAN WAS SO GOOD!! 10/10 FOR ME!

Koah (pronounced qua) was an excellent cashier and server. He patiently went over menu items and menu recommendations. The only dessert sold is their giant red velvet cake, but most definitely worth the try. Did I mention that our tacos and nachos were delicious?!! The tacos are also a pretty nice size. This is a great place for a date night or for just hanging with friends. The outside set-up is partially covered but looked inviting. Give it a try!!

We have been to this Velvet Taco location many times. The food is always on point, and being able to make dietary customizations without a lot of fuss is so lovely. Today I knew I needed to give the expeditor a shout out because this place was so busy today, and he still went out of his way to give great service. It’s loud and mistakes happen, a taco I wanted was missed in the order, and I didn’t get a receipt so I went to ask if it had been rang up. The taco was not, and I didn’t want to make a fuss, especially on a busy day. Without missing a beat this man had one made and brought it to me anyway, and I just want to say as usual it was delicious and his service is hands down the best you could ask for. I regret I didn’t get his name, but I hope someone from management sees this and knows who it was, he deserves a raise.
